if anything, this pat metheny trio shows that there is a general lack of awareness of mexicans in jazz. i certainly dont know any, though im sure theres gotta be a few big ones. if there were more mexicans in jazz, i think antonio wouldnt get so over recognized just for his nationality . mexican or not, he should still get recognized for how fucking awesome he plays, tonys the shit. speaking of latino drummers, everyone should check out horacio 'el negro' hernandez if you havent already

Nice Christian McBride's t-shirt. By the way he's extremely pleasant in his concerts. He came to my city in Brazil and everybody in the room loved him.
