This should be labeled as a preview, because you don't do any quilting (which is stated in the title).

This is only a small preview of a full workshop. We did want to provide a valuable hint in the preview so we answered one of the most common questions asked about domestic machine quilting...how do you manage to fit the whole quilt through the sewing machine?

But how do you fit it through the machine when you have batting? It doesn't look like you have any batting on this quilt in the video.

Thanks for the video. I've always wanted to make a quilt but never have because I didn't know how to squeeze all that fabric through. Now I know!

These are helpful tips carefully explained. Some machine quilting videos tend to leap off as if you know all the jargon about 'dropping the dogs' and 'walking feet' and such things.

I always wondered how they got a big quilt under the sewing machine. Now I know! Thanks so much. |
