I made pillows for the homeless and head wear to protect them from the cold. I brought cheap flannel fabric.

You can make quilts from used clothing.Ask someone who is having a rummage sale, if you can have the clothes they have left over from thier sale and why. You would be suprised of how many would let you have their leftovers. Also sheets or old light weight blankets are good for the insides of quilts. also sewing some old mattress pads together..A real warm quilt could be made from old flannel shirts or night gowns.

it takes a long time to aquire enough materials to makes these unless you are in a group. I have been trying for months now. I will keep trying though.

I like how people criticize a video about helping people ,Do you realize that 1/4 of our homeless are veterans? I thought the video was good.
