Piethingy - Bunt cakes can be quite toxic! Make sure you don't smoke the chocolate or cinnamon ones, and use a water pipe to filter the smoke. Otherwise the tree huggers panties will get in a bunch.. J/K guys but feel free to flame me any how.

Smoke is still being released into the air, but it has less particulate and other factors like various chemicals in the smoke then unfiltered smoke that might be emitted.

Well, as someone who cares for the environment but also loves his BBQ... Liquid smoke is great for those times you don't want to light off a 20LB bag of charcoal to cook a brisket.
