no. UFC is just an MMA organization. and MMA is nowadays defined as martial arts that are mixed together so the fighters are fighting in all different distances - including ground K-1 is just modified kickboxing. not all kickboxing organizations allow knees and lowkick. but it has nothing to do with being MMA

nah, UFC is an organization that holds MMA bouts, like PrideFC, Affliction, WEC, etc. K-1 organization only has stand up fighting, there are different styles, but i dont think that makes it MMA
